Tracy Risher
Hello! I am Tracy Risher, and I am so excited to be the counselor at Kosciusko Lower Elementary.
I am married to Robin Risher, and we have three children. Casey is a pharmacist and lives in Philadelphia with her husband Taylor. Jake lives in Miami with his wife Alex, and he is in his third year of medical school. Buck is a United States Marine and is currently on his second deployment. When stateside he is in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I have three grandchildren, Tripp age 4, Bren age 2, and Tucker who was born on August 19, 2020.
I graduated from Neshoba Central High School, East Central Community College, and Mississippi State University. I taught elementary grades in several school districts for about fifteen years before getting my Specialist Degree in School Counseling. I was then a counselor at Brookhaven High School for eleven years and Columbus Middle School for two years.
Elementary schools are where my heart lies. I love watching the minds of little ones growing every day. I love being a part of a school where children feel safe and loved. I will work daily on keeping them all feeling safe and loved.
My door is always open for the students and parents.
